Resonant Capital expands with office in Milwaukee, adds experienced advisors

Madison, Wis. - Resonant Capital Advisors, an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firm with more than $1 billion of assets under management (AUM), has opened a new office in Brookfield, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee.

The independently-owned firm has added Milwaukee area-based advisors to its growing team of 15 employees. Thomas (T.J.) Marini, an experienced financial services executive, and Josh Koeck, a family office leader, are the first Resonant employees in the firm’s Brookfield office.

“We have grown quickly since we launched our advisory business 4 years ago in Madison and we see a natural opportunity to expand with a physical location in Milwaukee, where a growing number of our existing and new clients are located,” said Ben Dickey, President and one of the founders of Resonant Capital Advisors. “This expansion also allows us to attract additional talented professionals to serve our clients with independent investment, planning and advisory services.”

Resonant Capital, which launched in 2018 with 5 team members, recently surpassed $1.3 billion of client assets under management. The firm’s clientele is concentrated primarily in its home state of Wisconsin, but has also expanded to serve clients located around the United States.

Resonant serves institutional and high net-worth clients, with an emphasis on multi-generational family businesses, entrepreneurs, and practice- or firm-owning professionals. In addition to planning and investment solutions, Resonant provides business transition planning, outsourced chief investment officer services and coordination with outside service providers including tax, legal, banking and insurance professionals.
