Heather Dettmann serves as a Client Service Associate with Resonant Capital Advisors. Heather’s duties include working directly with clients on their requests, including on transactional needs, account opening and transitioning and overall operational areas critical to meeting Resonant’s high client service standards.
Prior to Resonant, Heather spent 13 years in client service roles with extensive experience including as a manager at Fidelity Investments in Westlake Texas. Her areas of focus included defined contribution, tax-exempt, non-qualified and health savings plans. Her most recent role was a Client Service Manager, where she was responsible for her own book of business.
A native of Northeastern Wisconsin, Heather moved back to Madison with her fiancé Michael and is enjoying all the things Wisconsin has to offer. She enjoys biking around the Madison area, cheering on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams, and spending time with family and friends. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
- If you have a completely open schedule on a weekend, what do you most enjoy doing?
Going to the family cottage and spending time with family and friends. Being near water is my happy place!

- Who are the three people that have influenced you the most?
My parents and my fiancé Michael. They have instilled in me a sense of humility, and also have provided endless encouragement and support.
- What profession did you want to have when you were young?
I wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher or I wanted to work in a hospital. I knew I wanted to be around people and help them in some way.
