Josh Zahn is a Financial Planning & Wealth Advisor with Resonant Capital Advisors. Josh provides wealth management services to individual, institutional and family office clients as part of the advisory team. He also constructs comprehensive financial plans for clients, including retirement, investment, education, estate, and insurance planning. In addition to his role at Resonant, Josh also serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire – teaching the Advanced Wealth Management class.
Prior to joining Resonant, Josh worked as a Relationship Associate at Orgel Wealth Management in Altoona. At Orgel, he assisted clients with investment strategy development, investment portfolio analysis, portfolio management, and comprehensive financial, estate and insurance planning.
A Menomonee Falls native, Josh graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a major in Finance before completing his Masters in Finance at Indiana University – Kelley School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®) and a 2025 Level III Chartered Financial Analyst® candidate (CFA®). Josh now resides in Hartland with his girlfriend, Adrianna, and enjoys reading or watching Formula 1 in his free time.
- If you have a completely open schedule on a weekend, what do you most enjoy doing?
If I had an open schedule on a weekend, I would spend my time being outside, whether it’s through hiking/running/kayaking/baseball/family time.

- Who are the three people that have influenced you the most?
By far, my family has influenced me the most in my life.
- What profession did you want to have when you were young?
I wanted to be a Major league baseball player.
