Richard Dauphinais is the Accounting Manager & Family Office Coordinator at Resonant Capital Advisors. Richard joins the firm with nearly five years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and financial analysis.
Richard’s previous roles include nearly three years at KerberRose S.C., where he served as a staff accountant preparing tax returns, optimizing tax provision strategies, and reducing client liabilities. Richard also interned at Wipfli and most recently served as a senior accountant at an area credit union. Richard will provide administrative support to both our internal accounting and family office teams, assisting with asset aggregation, accounting and reporting.
A native of Detroit, Richard graduated from St. Norbert College with a double major in accounting and finance and a minor in music. Fairly new to Madison, Richard and his wife, Annicka, are still exploring all it has to offer. Richard enjoys playing board games and hanging out with his two orange tabby cats, Goose and Hux.

I sing opera.
- What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t be afraid to let your creative side show.
- If you have a completely open schedule on a weekend, what do you most enjoy doing?
Going out with friends or just my wife to a park or do some shopping at some of the great small businesses in the area.
- What are your favorite restaurants?
I love trying new things, so anywhere I haven’t been yet, or somewhere that serves good craft cocktails.
